Privacy policy

The short version

• There are no accounts, no sign-up and no email required.
• Nothing you type into a calculator is sent to us. Every calculation runs in your own browser.
• We do not set cookies of our own; Google may set cookies here for ads and analytics.
• Ads, when they run, come from Google AdSense; visits are counted by Google Analytics.
• The only shop we link to is Amazon, and only when you click one of our affiliate links.

When you use a calculator

Everything you enter — a weight, a height, a body length, a neck measurement — is processed by JavaScript inside your browser. It is not transmitted anywhere, not stored on a server, and not kept after you close the page. This site is served as static files; there is no backend database for your figures to go into.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own, and does not use local storage to keep information about you. Cookies can still be set by Google, as described below.

Opt out of personalized ads at https://www.google.com/settings/ads and of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; your browser can also block cookies.

Affiliate links (Amazon)

Some pages link to Amazon. If you click one of those links and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change what we recommend.

Once you follow an affiliate link you are on Amazon's site, and Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply from that point. We do not receive any information about who you are or what you bought.

We do not display live Amazon prices anywhere on this site, and we do not track prices.

Other third parties

We self-host the fonts. When ads or analytics run, both come from Google. AdSense uses cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve ads based on your earlier visits.

Google Analytics 4 records anonymous visit data (time on page, device, region) to improve pages.

Your information and your rights

We do not sell personal information. Because we collect none, there is nothing to hand over, correct or delete on request. If you email us, we hold your message and address only for as long as it takes to answer, and we do not add you to any list.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Changes such as the move to Google ads and analytics are written here rather than slipped in.
